Logo embroidery for shirts, jackets and workwear

Embroidery gives logos that look sharp and survive years of washing, which is why it is the standard for golf shirts, corporate wear and branded workwear. Send your logo, garment type and quantity, and we will quote the stitching, placement and timing, including fast options when the job allows.

  • Stitched, not printed
  • Golf shirts to workwear
  • Same-day where possible
  • Logo check before stitching

What embroidery does well

Embroidery stitches your logo into the fabric with thread, giving a raised, textured finish that reads as premium. It is the usual choice for company golf shirts, reception and hospitality uniforms, jackets, fleeces and branded gifts.

It suits solid logos, monograms and lettering. Very fine detail, tiny text and photographic images do not translate well into stitches, so some artwork needs simplifying. We will say so plainly when we see your file, and suggest DTF or screen printing when a printed finish is the better fit.

Digitising, thread and placement

Before stitching, your logo has to be digitised, which means converting it into a stitch file that tells the machine where each stitch goes. Good digitising is what makes small lettering legible and keeps fabric from puckering.

  • Placement: left chest, right chest, sleeve, back yoke, cap front and more.
  • Thread colours: matched as closely as possible to your brand colours from the thread range.
  • Size: tell us the width you want, because small text has a minimum readable height.
  • Garments: polos, shirts, jackets, fleeces, aprons and caps; heavy or very stretchy fabrics may need backing, so mention the fabric.

Files we need from you

Send the cleanest version of your logo: vector (AI, EPS, SVG, PDF, CDR) is ideal, and a large PNG or JPG can work if the shapes are clear. Include Pantone or thread colour references when brand colours matter.

  • Tell us garment type, quantity and where the logo goes.
  • Mention if the same logo is needed on several garment types.
  • Ask for a digitised sample or proof if this is a first order for the logo.

Once a logo is digitised, repeat orders are far quicker because the stitch file can be reused where it was saved. Upload files on the quote form, or start on chat.

Same-day embroidery and corporate wear

Many clients come to us with a deadline: new staff starting Monday, a golf day on Friday, a site induction tomorrow. Same-day embroidery can sometimes be arranged for small to medium batches.

It depends on capacity, job size, garment availability, an already approved logo file, payment and a confirmed deadline. A new logo needs digitising first, which takes extra time. Supplying garments in the right sizes and sending the logo early gives the best chance.

  • Golf shirts and corporate wear: polos, shirts, blouses and jackets for teams.
  • Caps: see cap branding for headwear.
  • Protective wear: safety vests, overalls and workwear jackets can be embroidered where the fabric allows.

Frequently asked questions

Can any logo be embroidered?

Most logos can, but very fine lines, small text and gradients need simplifying. We assess your file and tell you what will stitch well before you commit.

What is digitising?

Digitising converts your logo into a stitch file the machine reads. It is done once per logo and usually reused for repeat orders, so later orders can move faster.

Can you embroider garments I bring in?

Often yes. Tell us the fabric and garment type first, since some materials need backing or are unsuitable, and we will confirm before you drop them off.

Is same-day embroidery guaranteed?

No. Same-day work depends on capacity, quantity, approved artwork, payment and a confirmed deadline, and we confirm it on your quote before work starts.

How long will embroidery last?

Stitched thread is hard-wearing and holds up well to regular washing, which is why it is popular for uniforms. Following garment wash instructions helps keep it looking neat.
