Same-day posters that go up on time

Posters suit anywhere people pause: shop windows, school and church notice boards, building lobbies, conference venues, exhibitions and community halls. They carry one big idea, such as an event date, a sale or a safety message, and benefit from large images and short text.

A3 suits close-viewing spots like noticeboards, A2 and A1 work for windows and walls, and larger formats can be quoted for bigger displays. Paper choices range from standard gloss or satin for indoor use to heavier stock that holds up better. Lamination can be quoted for areas with handling or humidity. For outdoor or long-term display, PVC banners may be a better fit than paper.

Design for the viewing distance: headline readable from several metres, one dominant image and details at the bottom. Supply a print-ready PDF at final size or a proportional scale, with 3 mm bleed for full-colour backgrounds. Images should be at least 150 dpi at final size for large posters, and higher for A3 and below. Low-resolution photos blow up poorly, so send the original file, not a social media copy. Posters are often suited to quick turnaround, but timing depends on capacity, size, quantity, approved artwork, payment and a confirmed deadline. Lamination, mounting or unusual materials add time. Give us your display date and allow for collection so a rush does not become a scramble.

Posters are rolled or flat-packed for protection. Collect from Rivonia once we confirm they are ready, and bring a tube or large bag if you have a long journey. Delivery is quoted per job.
