Pull-up banners and X-banners for stands and reception

A pull-up banner (also called a roll-up) has a printed graphic that retracts into a base cassette. You pull the graphic up and hook it onto a telescopic pole at the back. When the event ends, it rolls back into the base and goes into a carry bag.

This makes it ideal for expos, conferences, product launches, shop entrances, reception desks and training rooms. The graphic can be replaced later on many models, so the same stand carries a new campaign. Confirm the stand and graphic compatibility on the quote.

• Standard sizes are common; wider and premium stands may be available.
• Graphics are usually printed on a banner film suited to the stand.
• Keep key content in the upper two-thirds, where it is seen above tables and crowds.

An X-banner uses a lightweight X-shaped frame that holds a printed graphic at the corners. It is lighter and simpler than a pull-up stand, and the graphic is fixed at four points rather than retracting.

X-banners suit short-term indoor use: in-store promotions, notice displays, school and church events, and one-off campaigns where the graphic changes often. They are less rigid than a pull-up stand, so we generally suggest them for sheltered spots. If you will use the display repeatedly or for years, a pull-up stand may serve you better.

Banners are tall, so people read them top to bottom while walking past. Lead with your logo and one headline, then a short list of benefits, then contact details or a QR code at a readable height.

• Supply print-ready artwork (vector AI, EPS, SVG, PDF or CDR), set to the banner size we confirm.
• Raster files should be high-resolution at final size.
• Allow for the base: the bottom section of a pull-up banner is hidden in the cassette, so keep text above that line.
