Window graphics for branding, privacy and promotion

The right film depends on whether you want to sell, brand or screen.

• Printed vinyl: full-colour promotions, product images and opening notices.
• Cut vinyl lettering: trading names, hours and contact details in a single clean colour, applied directly to glass.
• Frosted film: a soft, etched look for privacy in meeting rooms and bathrooms, with logos or patterns cut out.
• Contravision (one-way vision): perforated printed film that shows a graphic outside and lets people see out from inside.

Window graphics pair well with shopfront signage and reception signage.

Contravision film is covered with tiny holes. From outside, the printed side reads as a solid image. From inside, the holes let you see through to the street. It suits shopfronts, office glass and vehicle rear windows where daylight and a view matter.

Because of the perforations, finer detail is slightly softer than on solid vinyl, and in low light conditions the graphic may look different. Use bold images and large text. Ask us about vehicle glass rules before branding any window used for driving visibility.

Glass sizes and frames dictate the layout. Measure the visible glass area, not the frame, and note mullions, handles and door openings.

• Photograph the window straight on, including surroundings.
• Tell us whether the film goes inside or outside the glass.
• Supply vector logos (AI, EPS, SVG, PDF or CDR).
• Keep important text clear of door handles and frame lines.

Window graphics should be applied to clean glass in suitable conditions, so installation is normally quoted along with supply. Wind, dust and heat make application difficult outdoors.

Timing depends on capacity, film stock, size, approved artwork, payment and a confirmed deadline, and we confirm it on the quote. Cut vinyl lettering is often quicker than large printed panels.
